I am a fourth generation New Zealander, born and bred in Auckland and have lived in this city for most of my life. I have been fortunate in my life to have worked in some truly wonderful occupations, but being a celebrant is, without doubt, one of the most rewarding and challenging vocations I have ever done – and I love it! To be able to truly assist people in making their special day magic is one of my greatest joys.
I am married and my husband and I share three adult daughters and several grandbabies. We live in Central Auckland which makes attending ceremonies very accessible – north, south, east, west and of course Waiheke are all within easy drive (oops – and ferry!)
I was registered as a marriage (and subsequently civil union) celebrant in 2000 and over the ensuing years I have officiated at literally hundreds of ceremonies taking pride in ensuring that the wishes of the couple are adhered to, while also offering suggestions about how we can make each and every ceremony unique.
My motto has always been “My first rule is there are no rules… except those demanded under NZ laws.”
